Let’s look back at 2022!

On the eve of the new year, we want to share everything that the 3D360 team managed to accomplish and overcome in this year, 2022. Undoubtedly, this year was not the easiest, but rather it was an important starting point, as we managed to achieve pleasant results and win a number of awards and prizes. Just like in everyday life, each of us brings some quality from ourselves, so in the blog we have combined the vision of our team members in relation to everything that is most important and significant in 2022.


In 2020, we started developing virtual tours, and it should be noted that until 2021 it was more of a family experiment to understand whether anyone in Latvia would be interested in such a service. Then, in 2021, “our exit” took place and this year can be called the year of honing our skills, developing and attracting customers. At that time, we realized that virtual tours were a hot topic, which, of course, was facilitated by the virus epidemic. In 2022 with 100% confidence that we not only know how, but we can! Satisfied customers who appreciate our solutions. We have invested a lot of time and money, purchased new LEIKA BLK 360 equipment, MATTERPORT PRO3 camera, computers and other devices. We also did a lot of work on marketing to create an image and promote brand awareness.

Projects and clients

Of course, you can’t do without a review of the work done and completed projects! 🙂 The most serious challenge was the objects of large areas and the combination of technical solutions in one functional virtual miracle.

The first most significant challenge and performance test of modern technologies was the development of a virtual tour of the Big Stage in Mežaparks. It took all summer to create this tour, or rather tours (versions in 3 languages are combined). Why? Because in the world there is not yet a single Matterport virtual tour of such a large area as the Big Bandstand in Mežaparks. Total ~5,000 sq. m of interior space and 145,000 sq. m. of the external territory. Let’s be frank, we had nowhere to “spy” to technically put together such a volume. We repeatedly changed the technique to a more powerful, better, newer one. As a result, we managed to create a beautiful and user-friendly 3D360 virtual tour with the heritage of Latvia, a big stage. In addition, we have published a virtual tour in Google Street View so that everyone can “visit” the bandstand area in Google Maps.

We also developed a virtual tour of the eight floors of the “Children’s Clinical University Hospital” with numerous wards and buildings. We developed a virtual tour of the Ziemeļblāzma Palace of Culture, the area of ​​which consists of ~ 3,000 sq. m. and an external territory of 50,000 sq. m. We created a complex 50,000 square meter industrial building. We also updated previously developed virtual tours in order to demonstrate the range of new products. This year we also started to develop individual virtual tours with closed access or password protection.

A number of new clients have been attracted from both the private and public sectors. We are happy to cooperate with global companies, as well as with municipalities, car dealerships, cinemas, shops and representatives of many other industries.

Awards and events

Our work is also appreciated by others, which gives us great pleasure, because it is in this that we see the true value of the work!

This year we received the Digital Twins Award for Best Property, both by the jury and the audience. True pride is not only to carry the name of Latvia on a global scale, but also to bring awards home.

Since we ourselves are from Kekava, we have also received the Municipality Award “Innovation of the Year 2022”. Entrepreneurs in their local government, and we are very happy to develop the business environment by participating in various events.

In order to promote and expand contacts, in 2022 we joined the Kekava Region Entrepreneurs Council, the Daugavkrasts Partnership Association, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Jurmala Business Incubator and BNI Latvia.

In turn, in order to get new partners and establish cooperation, we took part in the “Marketing Shake festival 2022”, as well as in the development of “RigaCOMM”, where we raffled off a gift card worth 2000 euros to create a virtual tour. As a result, Dr. The Children’s Clinical Hospital Clown is getting a super-heartfelt and rewarding virtual tour next year. Next year we will continue to participate in events and start 2023 with participation in the exhibition organized by “BiSMART”

This year’s goal was to create an image of the company and promote recognition, so we have been actively working on marketing and advertising through various channels. We could be heard in both interview formats and advertising jingle formats, and we also appeared on TV screens, where we talked about who we are and what we do. In that

In the same year, we also created a number of banners, including a large advertisement for the environment, which could be seen in our city of Kekava on the A7 highway. Of course, we continued to be active in the social media environment, preparing visual materials to demonstrate how useful the virtual tour is in various industries. Made our name more visible on various social media platforms by creating business profiles in Latvia and abroad. In addition to the above – we have patented our trademark 3D360! 🙂

“3D360” with a vision and goals for the future

“Obviously, we set ourselves high and sometimes seemingly unattainable goals, but this is what has allowed us to become as successful as we are today,” says 3D360 board member Māris Matuzka. “I always focus on making teamwork happen with special dynamics. And it is no coincidence that I like to remind myself “A goal without a plan is just a wish” – Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Maris admits.

Our plans include establishing more intensive cooperation with foreign institutions and enterprises, as well as introducing a completely new service that has never existed in Latvia, which will really take us to the next level of innovation. We will continue to actively work on marketing activities and will actively participate in activities.
